During a trade mission to Berlin organized by the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA), Magnetiq Bank Chairman of the Board Jakub Więcław represented the bank at key industry events, fostering collaboration between the Latvian and German financial technology sectors.

At the “Berlin–Riga FinTech Exchange and Networking” event, Magnetiq Bank, together with German company Vexcash, presented a successful cross-border cooperation model in Lending-as-a-Service (LaaS). The presentation highlighted how the bank’s infrastructure and modern B2B financial solutions enable international businesses to expand their operations and launch new services.

The joint case study of Vexcash and Magnetiq Bank clearly demonstrated the bank’s ability to provide a flexible and comprehensive financial infrastructure for international Fintech companies. The mission also featured round-table discussions and individual B2B meetings with German institutional investors, family office representatives, and banking industry leaders. Discussions covered the advantages of the EU Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation and Latvian licensing, positioning Magnetiq Bank as a trusted partner in the German and broader European markets.

Germany is one of Europe’s most dynamic and demanding Fintech markets, with Berlin alone attracting approximately 90% of the risk capital invested in the sector. Magnetiq Bank’s participation in the trade mission underscores its commitment to international growth and to delivering modern B2B financial services across Europe.
