Magnetiq Bank Expands Management Team

Following approval from the Bank of Latvia, Jeļena Jurane will assume the role of Member of the Management Board at Magnetiq Bank on June 16, 2026. Her primary area of responsibility will be leading the customer service division and driving the expansion of the bank’s business volume.

She is a seasoned finance and fintech professional with more than 15 years of experience across the banking, payment services, and digital finance sectors. From 2010 to 2016, she served as Head of Sales at LHV Bank. She continued her career at the credit management company Intrum, where from 2016 to 2021 she held the position of Head of Sales, and later, Baltic Client and Sales Director. Before joining Magnetiq Bank, she gained valuable experience at Nordigen, where she led the key account sales department. Following Nordigen’s acquisition by the UK’s leading fintech company, GoCardless, Jeļena continued her work within the new corporate structure as Sales Manager.

Since 2024, Ms. Jurane has been leading the Commercial Department at Magnetiq Bank. In this role, she oversees the development of the bank’s client portfolio, drives business growth, and builds long-term partnerships with international companies, as well as representatives from the e-commerce and fintech sectors.

Her professional competence spans innovative financial product development and international business expansion. She possesses deep expertise in Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) solutions, the implementation of modern payment infrastructure, elevating customer service standards, and market penetration.

Ms. Jurane holds a Bachelor’s degree from the BA School of Business and Finance and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Swiss Business School.
